Get your reservations early as the Wild Fish is a very small place at the back of a gas station post office across the road from the Little River Inn. The dinner was outstanding and a testament to the chef's discerning selection of local fresh ingredients and creative recipes. Outstanding and friendly staff. Can't wait to return! View all feedback.

Wow insinuating that I was littering in your herb garden is a pretty low excuse for having extremely rude staff and owner. (I don't know why I would be in your herb garden in the first place, and I definitely didn't litter Whoever that person was (your co owner? is truly a terrible person. We love this restaurant in Little River near Mendocino. The food is excellent and the reason to come AND the small restaurant is lovely romantic and adds to the meal!!!!!!
This was one of the best meals we had in Mendocino food was wonderful and service as well. The location is funky but they know their fish
I came to this place with my family (grandma, uncle and cousin the food was absolutely delicious and the ambiance was charming, the staff is extremely efficient and knowledgeable. It would be a great date spot, although there was a mix of couples and families (the food is that good! . Note, the place is quite small and is very busy so a reservation is a must. Note- if they added an awning they could create a cute patio in the front on the water to seat more people!
We were able to snag the last reservation at 8:30 for dinner. It is pretty small indoors, so expect it to be loud and tables in close proximity. Service was a little slow, but we didn't mind cause we were in no rush. They were also very accommodating. The one entree I was interested in was actually out for the night, so they were willing to prepare my second choice the same way as the first choice. Of course, to get the best of both worlds, we also got the mixed oyster platter yum! I wish we had ordered more oysters. We left very content with our dinner and what this restaurant had to offer. So glad we ate here! Definitely a place I'd come back to.

I've been discriminated against for being Asian all my life, I know how it feels. The way I was treated here feels like discrimination.
