I had a late lunch earlier in the day. After running a few errands in the evening I stopped at Palios for a Chicken Caesar Salad. Wow, it was fantastic. Fresh, crisp lettuce, flavorful chicken and just the right amount of dressing. Sald wasn't dry or drenched in dressing, but just right. That hit the spot for me. I highly recommend this Palios Pizza Cafe location! View all feedback.
What Angel Morrison doesn't like about Palios Pizza Cafe Of Little Elm:
2 years ago until now things were great. Today they now deliver using door dash. They do not post that anywhere on their website when you order for online delivery. Had I known that I was using door dash I wouldn't have ordered delivery. My delivery was not received!! Palios response was take it up with door dash. No refund or anything offered. Now door dash has to request a refund from Palios for me. I've been a faithful customer for 2 years and recommend them constantly. I'm now done with Palio's and no longer recommend. Update: still on hold an hour later trying to get a refund. Refund finally received. I placed my order around 12:40 and finalized my refund around 2:05pm. So now I get a late lunch from somewhere else. So done with this place.
I ordered a $13 Michelina meal, and I have to say, the bread was more enjoyable than the chicken Alfredo. It was a major disappointment and tasted quite bad.
Update: I’ve been on hold for over an hour trying to get my refund. It finally processed, but I placed my order around 12:40 PM and only completed my refund around 2:05 PM. Now, I’m left scrambling for a late lunch from another restaurant. I’m finished with this place.
I had a brief wait in line, just behind one other customer, and the staff was friendly while efficiently doing their jobs. We ordered a large nutty pizza (which no longer includes cashews or any nuts) and some cheesy bread, then settled down on the patio. Although we received an order number to mark our table, the server checking on the pizzas mistakenly asked us four times if other orders belonged to us—even though our number was clearly visible. Additionally, I noticed there was no trash can on the patio, which led to discarded items from previous diners cluttering the area. It's not very pleasant to eat with trash on the nearby tables. However, the pizza was excellent, and our appetizer of Greek bread was delightful. Both my adult son and I agreed that we would definitely return.
Pizza is good. Chicken parm is meh. The ?Mac and Cheese? was gross. Literally penne pasta and mozzarella cheese. I also, literally, was able to pout an 1/8 cup of oil out of the pan. My 5 year old straight up told me this is not Max n Cheese and had a Kraft Box for dinner.
We placed an order online, not only did we check the box for pie cut but we made a separate note to please pie cut the pizza. Upon getting home with the pizza we realized it was not pie cut, we called the restaurant just to inform them that this was the second time in a row that this had occurred, but the manager who was put on the phone refused to provide their name. So when we called to complain about the pie cut situation we just became more frustrated because the manager refused to provide their name. Yes, my boyfriend got upset about this and proceeded to get a little angrier, but I don't understand why the manager refused to supply their name. It makes absolutely no sense whatsoever. I am in the restaurant industry and our GMs and managers always introduce themselves to any customer they approach or speak to on the phone. It is sad that whoever owns this restaurant is letting people run their store that don't understand what customer service is. It is sad too that they probably don't care, they're just glad they don't have to work.
