The Blue Fox - Lithgow

Excellent choice for the area! I was pleasantly surprised by how delicious the Green Fox bowl was. Typically, I don't gravitate towards salads, but this one was packed with flavor and unlike any other salad I've had before. The edamame beans were spot on! I thoroughly enjoyed my meal and would definitely come back again. I do wish there were a few more options, though.

The restaurant features a clearly labeled "Pink Fox" vegan burger and offers a variety of appealing vegan smoothie options. They also provide several non-dairy milk choices for coffee. The burger has more of a fast food vibe rather than a gourmet experience. Unfortunately, I didn’t get a chance to try the more upscale Blue Fox next door. Fast Fox serves as the takeaway spot but also provides dine-in options.

For vegetarians, the options included gnocchi and an eggplant parmi, which unfortunately wasn't available during my visit. As for vegans, the only option was the Green Fox Bowl, which was quite tasty! Additionally, there were three appetizers suitable for vegans: onion rings with aioli, chips with aioli, and potato skins topped with aioli. I was pleased to learn from the waitress that their aioli is indeed vegan-friendly! Unless you’re specifically craving a delicious green salad bowl, I’d say this place might not be worth the visit for vegans. On the bright side, they do have some delicious cocktails as well!

I didn't get a chance to try the more upscale 'Blue Fox' next door, which seems to be an extension of the takeaway shop but provides a sit-down dining experience.
