If you are like me and longed for a Chinese restaurant like ones on the East Coast, then this place is for you. I have yet to find another Chinese, let alone Asian restaurant in the whole valley as good as here. I have no idea what the negative reviewsare all about. I have been coming here for years and I always end up feeling the same way, sad... that my food is gone! The ricenoodles are top notch. The so called cre... View all feedback.
What Ernestina Carrillo doesn't like about Rice Garden-inside Bashas:
The people who work here are so rude and the food was horrible. This place used to be so delicious it is obvious they do not care about the food or the service they provide. The food was so dry as if it was under the heat lamp for two days. View all feedback.
I dont know why people hate it but i have good experience. Good food for me
There is such a huge language barrier and they need to work on that, respectfully. I called on three different occasions because I wanted to cater some food for an event and cannot communicate with anyone on the phone. I tried to get pricing and I tried toget serving sizes, but we could not seem to understand each other. Finally, I tried one last time and I asked if I could placean order online to which the lady began to fuss at me and all she said was, “no, no, no” and hung up the phone. When Icalled back they wouldn’t answer the phone anymore. It’s extremely frustrating and I definitely don’t understand why theywouldn’t try to mitigate the issues that the language barrier is creating and work on some better communication tactics orrequest some type of support. Nonetheless the food is good, but the service is not.
The staff at this restaurant are extremely rude, and the food was terrible. It’s clear that they no longer prioritize the quality of their food or the service they offer. The dishes were so dry that they seemed to have been sitting under a heat lamp for two days. This place used to be fantastic, but it has really gone downhill.
If you're like me and have been searching for a Chinese restaurant reminiscent of those on the East Coast, look no further—this place is for you. I haven't encountered another Chinese, let alone Asian, restaurant in the entire valley that matches the quality here. I really don’t understand the negative reviews. I've been coming here for years and every time I leave, I find myself feeling a bit sad… sad that my meal is over! The rice noodles are exceptional. The so-called originator of orange chicken, Panda Express, can't even compare to Rice Garden's version. While they do charge a bit extra for the BBQ pork, it's absolutely worth it; it's incredibly rich, flavorful, and everything you could want and more. Ignore the naysayers and give this place a try—you won't regret it.
I ordered my meal through DoorDash tonight, and I have to say, it wasn't worth the money. I had read some not-so-great reviews beforehand, but I figured everyone has different tastes. Unfortunately, I was mistaken this time. The lo mein was terrible, and the spring rolls were mushy with an odd flavor. The only decent items were the BBQ pork and steamed rice. I won’t be ordering from here again. Sorry, Rice Garden.
