Stopped in for their grand opening with my husband and toddler. They were very welcoming to my active little guy! My husband had an iced espresso with cream and I had their signature vanilla late. It wasn't overly sweet and you could still taste the coffee, which I appreciated. We also got their sopapillas... and let me tell you, I crave them now! I also love that they support local artists. What Sam T doesn't like about Java Jam Coffee House:
I was elated to have a local coffee shop in the Lisle area until it opened. The cafe was beautiful! The bar area was barebones which was disappointing. The good part is that I actually enjoyed their coffee the first time. The second time I went the espresso shots were not dialed in properly and I was disappointed. My other complaint is that their menu is trying to too hard to be like Starbucks except it’s not. Small... View all feedback.
This is easily my favorite coffee shop. They have a superb team and fantastic coffee. There food is the best though. Always freshly baked which makes the whole place smell amazing. This place is an absolutely must try.
Went there last week with my wife for the first time as we live about 15 mikes or so away. The place is smack dab in the middle of downtown Lisle on the west side of the street with plenty of free on street parking available The coffee shop is very welcoming and very clean. I was served by two employees and I am not sure if they are in fact the owners or not however they bit treated me very nice. Tables/floors/dishes-utensils/counter you name it Were spotless as well as the mens room There is a band stand in the far corner so I would assume that in the evening hours they have varied entertainment. The coffee shop itself is not small nor is it large. A perfectly adequate size to accommodate their clientele well at the same time you are. It sitting in your neighbors lap Coffee was good, the wife liked her egg sandwich and this place offers oatmeal in the same fashion as you would make in your home versus the bowl of mush most other places serve up as oatmeal. If you like oatmeal you will like their serving of it Prices are competitive and very fair. Not cheap and not high. Simply fair and what more could one ask for Be advised that on some web sites this is listed as permanently closed and when I brought this to the peoples attention they stated that it has been this way for about a week and even though they have called into those websites it does not get changed. This is an unfortunate situation fir the business owner and hopefully they can rectify that. I can assure you they are open to the public on the hours posted on their website
I used this coffee shop for my daughter's sweet 16 party and it was very nice. Arias was so accommodating and kind. This venue was a perfect size for the 20 people we had and could have accommodated more. There was a great sound system in the location and that made playing music so simple and the sound was wonderful. There was an issue with extra fees but this was resolved by the host of the venue and everything worked out. Will definitely recommend this venue to others for intimate get togethers.
I went this morning for the first time and I got an iced mocha coffee and it had a nice coffee flavor without being overly sweet. My wife got an Americano, which was also good and had a smooth taste. The server was very nice and the ambience is excellent for lounging. There was music playing and there are books to read and games to play when you visit. If you are looking for a local coffee place with a great atmosphere, I would recommend this place.
