Pizza Pasta - Lisieux

One of the only restaurants open in Lisieux on a Sunday evening.. but the food was great with friendly service. Much appreciated

Have been with my friends now many times in this restaurant. We always spent a very pleasant time here. The ambiance is quite French with mirrors on the ceiling, very kind staff especially the owner and his lovely wife who bakes the most yummy pizza’s. Salads are mouthwatering and last week I had a steak cooked to perfection and so tender. The choice of food is impressive, so you need time to study the menu. I loved to be back here and this time twice.

As a solo traveler some places are not as welcoming as others. I found this place very warm and welcoming by the owner. The pizza was wonderful and of course my wine was as well. Due to the rain I asked for a taxi to be called for me. The server did tell the owner, who arranged a taxi back to the train station for me. He told me to wait inside and stay warm until they come. I really appreciated the kindness, good food and customer service.

From the moment we walked in we new the staff were not interested. The food was very good so can’t complain about that. We were not offered any water where as all the other tables had it put on straight away. We sat there after the meal waiting for them to clear the plates away, it wasn’t until I stacked them that they cleared up. No smiles or greeting, how was your meal, just totally ignored.
