Feedback
The restaurant at the Cliffs of Moher received mixed reviews, with some diners experiencing long waits and limited seating. The food was deemed average but the overall atmosphere was chaotic and rushed. On the bright side, there were beautiful views of the cliffs on clear days, and the cafe offered a variety of snacks and dishes. Visitors to the site noted the stunning scenery and unique experience, recommending a morning arrival and appropriate clothing for windy conditions. Despite some organizational issues, the Cliffs of Moher remain a must-see destination, especially for nature lovers and those seeking a memorable adventure.
Nature is beautiful and sweet, but entry has been made expensive for students. Only 2% cheaper than for adults. Because of this only 3 stars.
I was hiking the Burren Way and came in on foot to the site from miles up the coast. Of course, the cliff views are stunning on a clear day but the Visitor Experience left me sad. It reminded me of Disneyland, tacky and touristy. It's a positive that now restricted mobility people can now see the views, but even so, it's all a bit crass. I couldn't wait to walk on and away from this blatant tourist cash-cow. Dozens of coaches pack the vehicle park, the car park was full and it was heaving with people, not to mention buskers and ice cream sellers. The only this missing were juggling clowns on unicycles. If you are able, park at Doolin (free) or Liscannor and walk in. It's about a 11 mile round trip and the Burren coastal walk is lovely. If you want to go by vehicle and pay €12 per head to witness this commercial nightmare, feel free.
Buy tickets online. It costs 7 euro. Same ticket when bought from here costs 12 euro.
We went on the window at day literally the car doors blew back in on us so we had to be very careful, and determined, to just get out of the car. Spectacular.
Hermoso lugar. No puedes venir a Irlanda sin visitar Cliffs of Moher.
