They want you share plates but the sizes are such that each is an entree and they come out at different times. This wouldn 't be too big of a deal but then the options are difficult to find that give you a complete meal, meaning protein, starch, vegetables. We ended up with creamed rice and the black pig pork. Just makes for an odd meal. If you 're trying to do a tapas thing, then do it and let us order lots of plates otherwise plate the entrees properly. The food was good so there is that. Now, about the server..... nothing good here. We definitely got the wrong one tonight! The man who seated us couldn 't have been nicer and I watched as he attended his tables well. We weren 't one of those. The woman who served us came by twice in over 2:00. I do not think she wanted to be there. After sitting with nothing to drink and no food in front of us for :30 I finally got up, chased her down and told her we wanted the check. We would have liked more to drink and a dessert. Not to be. I get the relaxed dinner and I appreciate not being bothered constantly but being ignored and abandoned isn 't good either. The couple that sat down shortly after we did was getting the same poor service so I don 't think it was personal. I 'm guessing either understaffed or incompetent. Too bad it 's a nice place but left a bad taste in our mouths...not what you want after eating :

The place itself is very modern and quirky, you'll definitely notice when you step in. They have a large restaurant area and a bar in the back where the specialize in Gin. I'm not a huge gin fan, but I hear it's a must try here. The staff is friendly and speak perfect English. I got the steak. It's a healthy portion and it comes with fries. More fries than I was able to eat. The steak was perfectly cooked. Melted in my mouth and had great flavors. It comes with a blue cheese dip, that wasn't the typical overpowering blue cheese flavor I'm used to. All in all a great meal at a very interesting restaurant, but a little too pricey for me.
