Went to the English open mic comedy on Tuesdays. Best open mic I've ever been at. The host is super sympathetic and great at crowd work. The event is very popular, so it gets very crowded (and the seating a little difficult and uncomfortable). Unfortunately the website was down and we couldn't make a reservation, but we got there early and easily got in, so did everyone else. The fact that it is pet friendly warms my heart! It’s a great environment and it has an upstairs area which allows for quieter and more private conversations and working place. I recommend it for a date with friends and romantic dates too. <br/ <br/ The brunch was something new for me however I did enjoy it! Tried new things like the cold tea which was surprisingly tasty, my favourite however was the avocado toast.
I visited Selva a couple of times last month during my short visit to Lisbon. I have to say they care a lot about the coffee that they are brewing. I had an americano the first time and got myself a pour over the other time. Both of them were brewed to perfection. <br/ <br/ The place also had a nice vibe, there were few people who were working and there were few people chatting. The second time around I got my laptop and was able to get to a few tasks that I wanted to get done. They had a good internet connection.<br/ <br/ I would say it is a must visit if you're in Lisbon and love coffee.
What a great surprise! A nice vegan brunch consisting of a vegan yogurt with fruit and granola, avocado toast with cherry tomatoes and vegan feta cheese, a coffee, a juice and a vegan cake. You can choose any coffee from the menu and the vegan cake based on the available on this day! The vegan feta cheese was approved by my Greek friend! The place has 2 floors, some tables on the outside and is beautifully decorated with many plants.
