We had beef tenderloin with an outstanding sauce, seared scallops that were fantastic and two side dishes. We had the passionfruit soufflé for dessert which was heavenly! The gratinated artichokes were just so so. The real issue of the evening was the service...there were too many wait staff who weren’t busy and who were clustered together chatting. It was inefficient and not actually good service for having so many staff . Excellent food, marginal service.

That’s what happened when we were turned away at Praia no Parque due to my partner’s dress shorts, despite them being clean and tailored. The interaction there was cold and dismissive. We then went to Seen by Olivier, which also has a dress code—but what a difference. The staff welcomed us gracefully and with genuine hospitality, making us feel respected rather than judged. We had four exquisite cocktails, fresh oysters, ceviche tacos, and a beautifully plated dessert. Everything was exceptional—flavorful, refined, and worth every cent. The service was attentive without being overbearing, and the scenic rooftop view over Lisbon made the experience even more memorable. In total, we spent around €150 and left feeling truly satisfied—not just by the food, but by the atmosphere and the way we were treated.
