. Incredible place with beautiful and elegant decoration. Ambience is also nice. Food is OK, but a little to expensive for the quality comparing other restaurantes in Lisbon. The dishes are not really creative, and the risotto was undercooked. Despite the waitress competence and sympathy, the overall experience was poor since the table we got was near the bar and there were two groups of people inches away of our table making a lot of noise and making us feel uncomfortable. There was one guy seating in a stool literally 5cm away. We alert the staff but they did not resolve this issue. I think I can probably go back only for an evening cocktail

Palácio Chiado offers a unique setting: a beautifully renovated 18th-century palace, with a contemporary feel. This luxurious ambiance is backed up with extremely well-thought and varied dishes. All of these come with a spot-on presentation and interesting flavor combinations. A special mention to the crispy tiger shrimp with shrimp risotto, asparagus and lime , and the canelloni with iberian pork that comes with a scrumptious creamy truffle sauce. The service was cordial, and the price was extremely satisfactory, due to a discount acquired while booking, as otherwise it would still have been acceptable, but not as attractive.

When you enter this fine dinning estabilishment, you may notice an outside waiting area for smokers. There is also an hanger by the stairs from the master room which lead upward to a a few corridors which have secondary rooms, one of which has tapas (appetizers) that leads to a second master room where one can watch the cookings being performed. The host is very polite and the service is very flattering. The design of Palacio Chiado is what I would call a minimalist yet contemporary enough to be a fitting scenerio to the ancestry of the buildingThe music selection is wise and very chill from what you'd expect from a lounge bar restaurant.I only had a tuna tarttar and a glass of water but I can tell that even though at 6:00 p.m. with so little people the dish took 15 minutes to be made.I strongly recommend this dish or other dishes since I admire the tartar for its compexity in taste. What feels like a traditional fusion restaurant offers this asian dish that could easily be mistaken for something you would have somewhere in Japan.I disliked the toast bread because it had difficulty sustaining a dish which the concept is to be eaten on top of.The team is excelent and I approve of this place.Have one coffee for me, they pretty s... because there's no coffee beans like club penguin.
