Our waiter was a lovely and atte... read more This is an informal restaurant in Paque das Nações dedicated to bacalhau (codfish) dishes, although they do offer other dishes. Our waiter was a lovely and attentive young man who was always ready to attend to our requests. We ordered the Misto de Bacalhau (Four different preperations of bacalhau for 2 ppl) All were good, especially the bacalhau de natas, Food was good, service excellent, we sat out doors and it was busy but nice. I would recommend D 'Bacalhau for an informal dinner for 1, 2 or a family.

We missed our reservation due to a delayed flight but went at around 3 and the service and food were just incredible. We had two mains, the seabass was very good, my cod loin, not so much. I found it to be extremely tough and stringy, not like cod I am accustomed to. Sorry it is mixed review. The ambiance is fine, but it is definitely oriented toward a high volume tourist or convention clientele. That said, there seemed to be a lot of Portuguese customers, as well as Brazilian.
