I loved this restaurant when they were open, it was one of the first vegan restaurants I went to with my family and it was a smash hit- even with the meat eaters. View all feedback.
What MarianneGibson doesn't like about The Courthouse Inn & Restaurant:
My food bowl was without any texture, totally beige!! Insipid Chickpeas Couscous Hommus Avocado AND a couple of spinach leaves. It was like eating a cold porridge sandwich Chef needs to learn about the RAINBOW and visual appreciation. View all feedback.
What a wonderful place!!! If you enjoy fresh, flavorful food and unique settings, this is a must!!! Yes, the menu is vegetarian, but there is something for every one. And the decor has elements from many cultures.
What a wonderful incredible place. Unbelievable cuisine, great atmosphere along with wonderful service. If you’re looking for a place with wonderful cuisine there’s only one choice, the Courthouse Inn and Restaurant in Lisbon, Ohio .

When someone who has eaten wonderful meals in world-class restaurants, I'm always impressed by the Courthouse Inn and think it's one of the best places I've ever eaten. The food is to die, the environment is stunning, and the staff is top-notch! Thank you. Renelee to bring this incredible restaurant to the heart of Ohio!
I was blown away from everything. Here's a quick copy / paste of my yelp review for this absolutely mind-blowing restaurant: The Courthouse Inn is the best restaurant I've remembered lately. To put the stage: I lived in a suburb between NYC and Philadelphia for most of my life. I had the pleasure to eat in many incredible restaurants in both of these big cities, and enjoyed every outrage of these meals. The Courthouse Inn meets or exceeds every one of the best meals I had in every restaurant during my life. From the first course we received from the kitchen we were strapped. The coating was absolutely beautiful and was surpassed only by the taste. We started with the Baked Brie, which was served with sautéed sweet onions and cartelized apples. One side of the local baked bread accompanied the dish that perfectly paired with the dishes taste palates. We were surprised by the size of the part, it was certainly enough to leave a table of 4 satisfied. It was not long after that we were served our salads, which were carefully plated in a true artistic way. Again a generous part that was a pleasant surprise. Fresh, crunchy and a variety of local products accompanied the house made dressings. Next we were served our ducks. I chose the Jalapeño Mac Cheese and she ordered the Gnocchi. This is the part that set the whole night apart from everything we have ever experienced. The Gnocchi was made house, slightly fried and AMAZINGLY presented. (See pic . It was all as delicious as it looks, and I thankfully accepted a stock offer. My Mac Cheese was perfectly textured and creamy. The Jalapeño taste was delicate in the plate, recalling some of the best stuffed peppers I ever had. Again, enormous part and I took half of it home with me. We never get dessert. Never. Today was different as we needed the night with something from the dessert menu above. We came so far, we had to see it. We ordered the banana cake, and we were not let down. Again, parts were huge (glad we decided to share it! The cream cheese frosting married perfectly with the professionally baked banana cake. We went happy, and we even decided to bring two pieces of cake home to our babysitters as a future bride. As we talk to our server, we discovered another big surprise. Her chef is completely taught. He had no formal culinary training, and he comes with the menu based on what fresh local products procured for the day. Chef's doing this from scratch, without formal training. The mind is broken. The last surprise came with our check. We had 1 appetizer, 2 entrees, 3 beers and 3 desserts (honest, we ate only 1 . Our check was less than $100. I was sure there was a mistake, but everything was placed on the bill, and it was all there. This was really the most unforgettable restaurant experience of my life, and it immediately became my favorite restaurant. I'm sorry it took so long to discover, but we're gonna be another opportunity.
