The owner literally displays the history of his life on the walls of this cafe/bar. It feels as if you are visiting someone you 've known for a long time and you keep pointing to something saying 'Have you seen that? I remember it too! ' It is housed in the ground floor of his house and you can make yourself comfortable in old chairs and leather sofas and just get lost. Nobody rushing you. The wine and beer were good, and the chocolate cake (with ginger) to die for! I am surprised that nobody has held him ransom yet in order to get the recipe.
Popped in for a drink after dinner. Loved the relaxed atmosphere and quirky interior! The owner was such a cool, sweet guy! He gave us free cheese and meat snacks to accompany our delicious wine! We were so relaxed it was hard to leave! Very reasonably priced too!
