They are delivered by a period-dressed waitress on a separate plate and they are lit for a hot fire at your table. You can put out the fire when you...wish, or wait until the sterno/fuel dies [maybe 5 mins or so]. Scrumptious and well worth it. I must mention that the decor is true to the medieval concept, a fact that helps make your visit a true event. Our meal came to 23 E for 2 people, including one beer. Reasonable and yummy!
