Against my better judgement we went to this restaurant as it was late we couldn't find anywhere with space my son was really hungry and it was empty which was clearly a bad sign. The food was inedible I ordered sardines and my son the seafood rice. The sardines tasted off and I didn't eat them and the rice was so salty and tasted like a stock cube plus it had crab sticks in!! I would have liked to complain but can't speak Portuguese so we paid and left. The white wine was very pleasant and cheap but that is really the only good thing I can say

We walked into the restaurant because we saw the sign HÁ CARACOIS (We have snails). It was a pleasant surprise! Firstly, the attendant was Elena, who was attentive and careful. The snails were delicious, fresh and well seasoned. We then ordered a grilled fish (Carapau), which was equally very good. To accompany a white wine from the house, very tasty. Finally we met Gloria, the owner and Chef of the house, who was very warm and chatted with us all night. IT WAS REALLY A PORTUGUESE EXPERIENCE! We love it and will go back.

Well, everything was very bad, except the music. Metal dishes, food wasn't even midrange some of the food we ordered we couldn't eat, it was fired until peal and bones.

We were a bit tired and hungry when we stopped in restaurant Tolan for lunch. We had seafood marisco and a pizza. The food was very good. We were serenaded by the cook who sang to the radio. Our waiter was very nice. We had a great and memorable experience that rejuvenated us for the rest of our day. I would come back to eat at restaurant Tolan.

We were really disappointed with the food and the service. The menu was written in Portuguese and in English; we chose two fried squid with bean rice dishes and one legume soup. To our disappointment, the waiter brought us two vegetable soups (not the legume soup we 'd ordered) and grilled sardines instead of squid. We waited for over one hour for the food to arrive. To make matters worse, it was rather bland. Tolan is a restaurant I 'll never recommend to anyone.
