We ended up paying 35... read more Be careful what you let them put on the table! One slice of cheese costs 3,5 Euro and they will bring you at least 4 slices for 2 persons. We ended up paying 35 euros only for the cheese! They charged us 3 coffee more and 2 more beers! Pay attention to the bill because they will steal from you if they can! The food was average, not worth the money!

This restaurant being close to the airpo... read more A friend of mine suggested that we had lunch at this restaurant. I had a tight schedule as I needed to catch my flight. This restaurant being close to the airport was an ideal place to spend time before going through the routine of returning the rental car and checking in.. Also it satisfied my desire of leaving Lisbon with the taste of Portugal in my mouth. I had fish for the last two weeks and I wanted to have fresh fish before I left Portugal as not only fish but Portuguese food is amazing. For starters I had cheese and grilled chorizo which was crispy and juicy just what you'd expect. For lunch I had my favourite the octopus with garlic, pressed potatoes and some salad, which was soft and very well prepared (the octopus , I can only recommend! Also they have prepared an amazing dish of sardines which is a tradition in Portugal. Crispy on the outside and salty and tasty on the inside! The wine selection of the restaurant is also very impressive, meeting all kinds and sizes of wallets. From the nice good value wines to the expensive rare selection it can satisfy many different tastes and desires in wine. All of this I have washed down with a creamy walnut cake, which was the perfect ending. I can only recommend this traditional place which is a charm from the past and only locals know about it! :
