I had arroz de tamboril, which was translated as prawn risotto, but it's actually full of monkfish, clams, and prawns. The portion was massive.

We walked out, headed away from the water and saw this place. Looked more local and less tourist so we went in. We shared a salad and one bacalau, plenty for us ! Kind service and very tasty food and a normal price. Happy to have found it. Try it if you can!

The menu offers traditional Portuguese fare at very friendly prices, and for this reason, it’s popular with the locals. Join nearby construction workers, restaurant owners, policemen, and off-duty street cleaners for lunch at this tiny hole-in-the-wall. You won’t hear any language spoken other than Portuguese, which is in itself the best way to judge a place. The specials of the day are cooked to perfection, the sangria is made with care, and the servers, though old, are quite quick and always professional. Worth a stop for lunch at the least.

I had a fish and everyone else had beef and everything was delicious, I loved everything so much, the owner the small quaint spot and the food was amazing. I truly recommend you to try it and just try anything they recommend you It will most likely be a great choice
