What Salma K dislikes about Tasca Do Faisca:
One of the worst restaurant experiences I had in Portugal. Upon arrival, the chef came to ask us whether we want meat or fish, and house wine without telling us the prices or showing the menu that we had to ask for. We both ordered grilled sardines which were supposed to come with potatoes and salad; the salad did not come and we had to ask for it. When he brought the salad it was a one person portion till we pointed... View all feedback.

Let 's be quick about the food, excellent. One in our group is lactose intolerant and vegan and they made a dish specially for her (asked if that was a problem and they said no, good that you mention it The singing went from good to excellent. The first fadista was traditional, not bad but been there, seen it heard it. The second fadista was Marco Oliveira, He has a voice as sweet as a lullaby. Soothingly he sings the most tragic fados. The piece the resistance was Helder Moutinho who sang for 20 minutes. Bold and soft, forcefull and quiet. He covers the whole range of old and new fados. He was acommpagnied by one of the guests who sang along and was invited to take the stage after he was finished. Not perfect but a fragile voice with 'life 'woven in. A good life is spend listening to good music, eating good food and drinking good wine. Tasca Do Faisca gave us all that eveing

Extremely rude and dismissive waiters. “House wine” tasted like watery apple juice (it was so horrible it actually became a joke for us on the rest of the trip! . The four of us each had never had “wine” that was that bad. Fish wasn’t fresh and not cooked well, and I had to beg them for more lemon so the dish could be even a bit edible. Avoid this place like the plague. Seriously. So many better options in the immediate area.

We went in the evening after dinner for a glass of wine and dessert. The restaurant was empty at that time. They served a piece of cake, almost 5 euros with a thickness of exactly 1 centimeter. Is this a joke?..no...for 5 euros!!! Looks like they were making fun of me. Probably because we didn't have dinner. The service is terrible! It seems like we weren't there. People! We came to sit for 10 minutes, drink wine and dessert. We left 15 euros for 10 minutes. They lost customers for other dinners. I do not recommend!
