Always so good. Love this restaurant and the folks who work here. A true Madragoa gem!!

Busy and high energy place with many Portuguese patrons- always a great sign if you’re looking for something authentic. We ordered 5 dishes for 3 hungry ladies and couldn’t finish it all. We had eggs& sausage, goat cheese toast and a tomato toast, seared tuna with sweet potato and a brisket on bread. All amazing and everyone had a different favourite.

This was our second visit to the restaurant , in a few days on our week long holiday. The food was wonderful. A new take on traditional Portuguese fare. Service with a smile and genuine friendliness. We will definitely return and urge you to go. Lovely.

Petiscaria Ideal never disappoints! We had a wonderful time, as usual--excellent food, good wine, lovely staff, charming ambiance.

I love this restaurant! Has a very relaxed and rural Portuguese decor and the food is a showcase of traditional Portuguese delicacies. Sharing the dishes and enjoying them as tapas is the best option. The service and employees are great! I couldn’t recommend it more.
