my friend and I have a real and rich lunch in this very characteristic taberna, located in a beautiful alfama’s gasse. we had a part of the huge sardinas and also tried a magnificent white portowein. the part and the fresh of the foods are great, and the prices are extremely one and cheap, with the average of the city. definitiw recommended! another more doubtful place that discriminates against the Portuguese, only have empty tables available for tourists. the old habit of taking a caffe for minutes is no longer allowed, only because the tables have to be set for rich tourist to have their lunch in...this case tables were empty, but also so I wasn't alloud sitting in one to have my cafe. Uma taberna que ainda tem o menu escrito em toalha de papel descartável. Preços há tuba e não há bife. Ponto menos positivo: os 'atendedores ' são muito enjoados....Os cachuchos estavam uma delícia .
Simple home cooked meals. Super casual. Cheap. We are staying a couple of minutes from here and found it very convenient. Good variety of options on their menu.
Unser Essen war fantastisch. Gegrillter Lachs- und Fischsittich (Bacalhau), auch der Hauswein war köstlich. Der Damm des Hauses ist ein ausgezeichneter Koch.
