Spleen - Lisboa

We popped in after visiting the museum, it was quiet with just other customers. I had beetroot soup with some very thin pieces of apple and other things, very tasty although a little bread would have made it better. My partner had a small hot dish that was also well cooked, presented and enjoyable. The waitress was friendly and calm. Overall the cost was reasonable as well. This is a small cafe not a restaurant, don't go if you are expecting fine dining or speedy service but we enjoyed our time there and what we had to eat and drink.

Booked a family brunch for a family birthday. Was asked to come late, because we were more than 10. We agreed to book a brunch for 13:30. Arrived on time, we helped to move the table to the patio at out request. So far so good. From that moment on, was he worst brunch experience of my life. Food was basically finished. They tried to replace with other type of inappropriate food for brush (plain noodles). Food presentation was anything similar to the pictures that are on the website. Food quality was bad. Scramble eggs were too liquid and done in a rush. Pancake were too thick and not tasty. No ham, very short on cheese, on everything thing that was suppose to be available in the buffet. Service is awful. Never again, and I recommend not to try.

It seems my experience was very different from most.... Brunch menu is drastically different from what is shown in the pictures. Food looks somewhat appetizing, but the buffet is messy, seldom replenished and the combination available makes no sense (why would you cook couscous and noodles before replenishing cheese and bread?! . Although the staff is very nice, they lack proper training and are much too busy to provide attention to every costumer (which makes the service very slow . All of this could be overlooked if the price was worth it, but you can get a much better meal for about half the price in the same area! Located in a magnificent garden. Great place to have a cold soup and a splendid organic dish. Especially worthwhile when sunny which in Lisbon is always the case!

Amazing veggie dish and very helpful service!Had a aubergine and cheese rolls with couscous and a fresh juice. Healthy lunch altogether with good value for money and splendid sunshine
