Sitio is in a courtyard setting, has incredible food and well matched wines, and the service was really great!
The Valverde website indicates that there is a Fado performance at the restaurant every Saturday at 20:30 and 22:30, so we had the concierge at our hotel make dinner reservations for 21:30. We arrived a bit early and had cocktails in the moodily lit garden (a good Negroni, and a disappointingly sweet Amblera(? Sour . Note: The cocktail list (and the prices on the Valverde website is out of date. The range is 14 to 21 €. Also inaccurate is the information about the Fado performances. By the end of our meal, when I inquired if it would be starting soon, the waitress told us that the times indicated on the website are not accurate. She said we’d just have to come back another time. This was very disappointing, as we would have booked dinner elsewhere that offered live entertainment. Our meal was fine (my sirloin steak was well seasoned and well cooked, but my partner found his pumpkin risotto bland . The biggest disappointment, however, was when we got the bill and found we were charged 9 € for a very skimpy bread service, 5 € for still water, and 21 € for a glass of house red wine, when all the red wines by the glass on the menu were priced between 8 and 13 €. This kind of sneaky upcharging is beneath a Relais Chateaux property. For this reason alone, we would not return.
An extraordinary place at the heart of Lisbon The hotel , the restaurant … are memorable places ! The staff and in particular the Chef Carla Sousa) are Fully Passioned about creating the most relaxing and vibrant atmosphere in town ! Great lunch with a super menu and the best ice cream dessert of all times :
There is a girl name Sara she is very hard working give go service to customers. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
Great service and very nice atmosphere but food was very average. We had the duck and salmon. The duck was soft and fell off the bone but it was a bit salty. The salmon on the other hand had no taste and was overcooked. Maybe their tasting menu is better but probably one of the less memorable meals for us in Lisbon Food: 2 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
