Contribute Feedback What Catherine C doesn't like about Rui Dos Pregos:
Possibly the worst meal I have ever eaten. Husband felt adventurous and ordered Pigs Ear salad it was cold, slimey and chewy served with what appeared to be picked vegetables. Maybe it’s a cultural thing, but it was inedible. I ordered garlic prawns which appeared in a metal dish, in 2cms of chip fat! The prawns were deep fried, hard and had no flavour. The oil was like engine oil. Service was dreadful as staff were... View all feedback.
No entanto, fornecerei feedback detalhado.
The service is incompetent even by Portuguese standards. The food is average at best and slightly overpriced for what it is.
English menu. Fast service. No hassle. I had soup, fries and beef. Nothing fancy. Just easy food to fill my belly. Was about 10 Euros or less. It did the job.
Still the same consistency in both food and service, cheap eats place with good quality, it seems that they never get it wrong, possibly the pregos in town, tender meat with a good garlic flavour on a warm roll, can beat it, if you around in the Belem area do not hesitate to look for this place, just opposite the Museu dos Coches National Coach Museum. For some reason it is not as good as it used to be, fried prawns were overcooked.
Nice and friendly spot, Basic food but prepared well and customer oriented. We had shrimp, steak and local wine and beer. Great experience of local cuisine
