The food here is amazingly tasty and super cheap! For 2 person, it was only 28€ !!!! We think she's the daughter of the restaurant owner she suggested what we should try and voila, no regrets! Both dishes that we ordered were very delicious! Also the caramel cheesecake, wow delicious! I don't recall the dishes name in Portuguese so please refer to photos attached. Located in the heart of Lisbon right next to one of the most touristic streets regarding restaurants in town, O Mondego is like all the small restaurants in Travessa do Forno, good, authentic and cheap. The staff was also nice and the food came to the table in a second. I will comeback and I've been recommending to everyone, local and tourists.
Very good, very cheap! Love it I had a steak, price was very cheap and good quality. The house wine is also good. Would recommend to everyone
In my opinion one of the best restaurant in Lisbon, for sure the best comparing price and quality. It can match different tastes since it offers both typical Portuguese food and tajine specialities (very appreciated after two weeks with just Portuguese food). Main dishes around 7 euros.
I absolutely love this place! Discovered it by chance and I am addicted. It is simple, homely, eccentric, authentic, welcoming...and the food is divine! 5 stars does not do it justice!
Absolutely fantastic real Portuguese restaurant. Not a typical 'tourist ' place to eat but a must if you are in the Rossio area of Lisbon.
