Imperial De Campo De Ourique - Lisboa

I came here as part of a culinary tour group and was very impressed by the food. The owner, Joao, was quite the character. He didn't really speak Englisg, but with a little translation from our guide, he kept us entertained. Highly revommended.

This gem of a restaurant is well worth a visit plus a return or two. The irrepressible Joao welcomed us with such friendly warmth, we loved the place immediately. And he is justifiably proud of the excellent Portuguese cuisine. We had thick pieces of crispy cod served with slivers of potato and sautéed onion the combination was simply scrumptious. I rarely eat seconds but rather over indulged it was so good! We noted the place was popular with locals always a good sign and despite Covid, it was busy with a lovely chatty atmosphere. Highly recommended.

DELICIOUS! Super nice and friendly service by the way!! The restaurant is located in the heart of Campo de Ourique! Everyone should try their “Chanfana”, their speciality!! Arnaud
