The wine was very quaffable and good value. If you have had a long day on the tourist trail around...Lisbon this is a great place to relax and enjoy a good meal in the evening.

They didn't have the pastas lusted on the menu, only Penne so we both had lamb chops except one of the...plates presented was ribs. We didn't bother sending it back and both plates were well cooked and presented. When we were given the bill it was for 56 euros and for a table for 4 people!! Our bill for 2 mains and 2 drinks was 30 euros, so well priced for what we had.

Beginning our summer holiday in a hotel near Lisbon would not have asked for the rehearsal of fresh quality Portuguese food at a reasonable price. we had the se... read more Beginning our summer holiday in a hotel near Lisbon would not have asked for the rehearsal of fresh quality Portuguese food at a reasonable price. we had the seabread and new kartoffels with a house white wine....Superb! the two waitresses were efficient and friendly with the time to chat with us about seeing and doing local places. we had fabulous meal times, simple cozy restaurant we decided to go back for a 2nd night when we heard the local music group as we had our meal at certain nights. great atmosphere with owners playing gitarre! 2nd night was not disappointed. thanks to our two waitresses caroline and katherine for their craic and chat as well as the musicians. for us, thank you. we're coming back!
