I’m a chef working high end places in Holland for over seventeen years and to surprise me is a real challange but this was just awesome. They have super fresh food, surprising combinations and the price is just to crazy for what you get honestly. We got three courses lunch for €19, Also the wines are very very cool and different and they can tell you lots about them. Go eat here! Good job guys, obrigado

This is, in essence, a high quality, locally sourced grocer (organic veg, natural wines, small producers’ charcuterie etc that a offers a short menu of small pl... read more This is, in essence, a high quality, locally sourced grocer (organic veg, natural wines, small producers’ charcuterie etc that a offers a short menu of small plates at lunch time (12:00 17:00 Having now eaten here at least 10 times in recent months, I’m quite convinced that, without really trying to be, it’s the best (and certainly best value menu de degustação tasting menu in Lisbon. And believe me, I’ve tried all the Michelin starred outfits here, and many more besides. The very short menu changes every week. 3 small plate starters/mains for a shockingly good value €19, (otherwise €6 8 each Many, indeed most, of the dishes I’ve eaten here are the most delicious things I’ve tasted in Lisbon. Original combinations of ingredients, but not overworked or pretentious, invariably fresh, light, beautifully presented and, most importantly, full of flavour. Just perfect for lunch. Prado Mercearia is now easily my favourite lunch destination in a town pretty well served with nice places to eat. (The restaurant next door, Prado, under the same ownership, and is also good. But not quite AS good.
