Just a brilliant little local place. On the route of the 28 tram and right near a viewpoint, but a great offering at fair prices. For breakfast I had a breaded pork roll, a codcake and a fresh orange juice, all delicious. They also have custard tarts, ginjinha, all sorts of nice Portuguese things it would be good to introduce people to. The man who served us was kind and polite. Really want to go back. Um lugar simples ao lado do famoso miradouro santa lightia para beber un café e comer um pouco doce. € 0.70, Imperial € 1.20 há sanduíches, prego em pão e sopa de vegetais (1.30 €).
Got off the tram to catch the viewpoint across the road and saw this place was full of locals. We wanted a snack and coffee so popped in. Good quality tea ad coffee with freshly baked pastel di nata. Very nice spot to sit in the window and watch the trams thunder by,the buses try to avoid cars and trams and also see the tuk tuk drivers stop to show their passengers the view. And what a view including the tiles and gardens of the church. We were lucky to also catch some excellent guitar music
The pastries were cold and not so tasteful. We asked the croquettes and you get just 1 little cold croquette for 1.50 euros
Perfect spot to get coffee and a pastry for breakfast before starting your day in Lisbon. It’s very close to a nice viewpoint and the tram stop.
Nice little cafe good value food worth a visit. ..but there are so many places to eat you're spoilt for choice. . this one seems like good value. .. Two large tuna salads and two drinks €12
