Pastelaria Ferrari - Lisboa

Muchas de las cosas que otros usuarios critican son ciertas pero nuestra experiencia no fue tan mala. El lugar estaba lleno y es cierto que el servicio era un poco deficiente.

We ate here two times. We always got an incredibly good service. The waiters were there all the time and did everything for the guests. The food was also very good. We ate paella, sardines, fish and omlette. We recommend this restaurant.

Service appears to be pretty good UNTIL you have to question them.about your food and drink. The waiter we dealt with turned from Mr Pleasant to Mr Nasty quicker than a Ferrari (see the pun!)reaches 100 mph! . Sandwich ordered with fries, fries turned up 25 minutes after the sandwiches, which were pretty tasteless, and my partners drink was served in a glass that still had washing up liquid in it. He took a massive gulp and felt sick the whole afternoon. Theynoffered to replace it but he was not feeling well after it so it was declined. Would not take it off the bill, or the fries, even tho we had told.them to cancel the fries as we were ready to go. I suggest all staff attend charm school over the quieter months and that they realise that the customer.is their bread and butter.

My pure lemon juice contained more disinfectant than juice. The waiter offered to replace it, but I’d lost all faith in their ability to concoct a drink that I’d wish to consume. He refused to take it off the bill, because I’d drunk some of it, trying to work out what I was drinking ! It appears that Basil Fawlty is alive and kicking, having swapped the Torquay Riviera for Lisbon. and that he continues to treat customers with utter contempt,

I visited the restaurant with my son for lunch yesterday and had to leave a review. The food was great and the service was amazing. I wanted to bring some Pastel de Nata’s home to England, but it was so hot, we had already checked out of our hotel and were walking around a lot so I said I would be back. When I did go back I was treated like royalty! They all remembered me and my son from earlier in the day. I wish I had found this place earlier in our trip as I was ripped off massively round the corner the day before! The Pastel de Nata’s are incredible!!
