Across the street there's a bus stop 729 and it's more or less in between Belém and the Jardim Botanico/Palácio Nacional da Ajuda. It's got a nice terrace. The owners are very friendly and helpful. We ate cabrito no forno €10,50 , drank a bottle of Ouro do monte €7€ and took some dessert aguardente. Everything was delicious, we truly enjoyed it. Highly recommended.

Recently the Calcada da Ajuda has been renovated and now it's a nice place to sit outside. Bus 729 stops closeby. A bottle of decent red house wine costs €6,50. We ate dourada na grelha and costeleta de vitela. Both dishes were tasty. In this restaurant they serve honest food at sharp prices.
