It doesn't look like much, but I've been to this place twice now and it's great value and very friendly service. I tried the shrimps for starters and they were just stunningly good. Be sure they're cooked by the elderly lady though, because the second time I went, there was another cook and they will still good, but not excellent. I tried a main dish there, baked cod, which was the day's special and it was awesome as well. I moved to Lisbon recently and I know this will be one of my regular places, if only for the prices they charge.

The... read more Travelling on your own is fine until it comes to eating. Found this little restaurante not far from where I was staying and have to say it was a great find. The first time I went the welcome smile and genuine warmth made me feel comfortable straight off. I had the special of cod fish cakes, rice and beans , absolutely delicious. Returned for a second evening and just as good. The two guys serving are efficient friendly and make you feel at home unlike some places. Value for money for good food and caters well for couples and groups. Highly recommend, well done guys
