It's off the beaten path, s... read more Restaurante O Beiral is a traditional Portuguese cuisine restaurant located near the Humberto Delgado Airport and Parque das Nações. It's off the beaten path, so mostly locals and business people go there. Restaurant is very casual, nothing too fancy but their food is extremely well made. Their specialties are their grills and their roasted suckling pig that they made only on Fridays and Saturdays. They have very fresh fish and one of their off the menu specialties (which you need to order at least 24h ahead) is their roasted Grouper head, which is easily enough for 3 people that eat well. Also try their tap green wine which is incredibly smooth. Staff is competent but a bit of hit or miss, some really friendly others not so much.

We get there at... read more After reading on Trip Advisor about this establishment we took an Uber there. The driver was really good but this place is behind an apartment. We get there at 5:45 pm went in to be told they close at 7 but could not start a meal as the cook went home. No apology just a shrug. Wasted time and money. The inside did not look great so I guess we were lucky.
