Was Hasan Koraishi at Grenache a mag?
An excellent place for delicious meal. The dinner was soo good. I like much the way of decorating the foods and serve. Very friendly environment. All the dishes was amazing. View all feedback.
What Emily Miranda dislikes about Grenache:
The food was amazing, and the restaurant was nice, but some of the servers did not speak portuguese and could only serve me in English which I found extremely disrespectful and in bad taste. This restaurant is in Portugal, all servers should be prepared to serve portuguese customers in portuguese. View all feedback.

Celebrated our 30th Wedding Anniversary this week end and everything was amazing. A relaxed, beautiful atmosphere without pretense, letting the food and service speaks for itself. A splurge of lifetime for us, but the memories will endure. Thank you ! Meal type: Dinner Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5 Dietary restrictions: Bell peppers allergies, no issues, very accommodating

If the Grenache in Lisbon does not yet boast a Michelin star, based on the culinary excellence and unparalleled service it offers, it is surely only a matter of time until it receives this coveted accolade. The meticulously prepared eight courses, coupled with a perfect selection of French cheeses, highlight a level of culinary finesse and creativity that is characteristic of Michelin-starred restaurants. From the moment of our arrival at Grenache, where we were greeted by an ambiance that was both elegant and welcoming, to the last bite of dessert, every detail was handled with precision and a passion for gastronomy that is rarely found. The careful pairing of selected wines with each dish was a testament to the sommeliers’ deep knowledge of their craft, a skill highly valued in Michelin-starred restaurants. The exquisite selection of French cheeses served between courses not only provided a palette of flavors that delighted the palate but also an educational journey through the art of French cheese. This level of attention to the quality and origin of ingredients reflects the high standards Michelin applies in awarding its stars. Moreover, Grenache stands out for an atmosphere that is both inviting and exquisite – a balance that captures the true essence of a Michelin-star experience. The hospitality and service we experienced were impeccable, with a team clearly committed to providing an unforgettable experience for every guest. For all these reasons – the exceptional cuisine, knowledgeable service, and welcoming atmosphere – Grenache, in my eyes, already deserves a Michelin star. Recognition by the Michelin Guide would be a well-deserved confirmation of the hard work and talent that the Grenache team puts into every detail of their work. Until then, Grenache remains a shining example of culinary excellence, receiving my highest recommendation.
To be honest, it was a disappointment for us. We read the reviews and were ready for a super experience, but I'd say it was just normal. The overall setup, food, service was not on par with the price. Though, the sommelier was superb. Overall, I wouldn't compare them with Michelin. Rather, I would visit something with a star for this price.
Great food with VIP treatment. The servers were polite and well informed. The food was very very good, though it was not our favorite meal. The ambiance is a little sterile.

This was the best restaurant I have ever eaten at from start to finish. The service was incredible the food was perfect! You MUST give this restaurant a try!
Attended for the New Year’s Eve celebration meal service good especially explanation of the wines by Sergio. We were in a room separated from the main restaurant which was quiet and relatively sparsely decorated so the evening lacked a little atmosphere. The food was good not reaching 1 Michelin star yet but heading there a nice touch was the complementary madeleine and marshmallow to take away. It was expensive but it was New Year Eve so a premium has to be paid I guess.
The courtyard of a castle couldn’t be a better backdrop for dinner in Lisbon…especially when that castle was built in the 12th century. And with the exquisitely conceived and plated creations of the chef and superlatively trained staff, the evening was almost perfect. (Instead of dining outside, the rain forced us into a smaller dining room, which was well appointed, but couldn’t compare with the courtyard. The highlights of the dinner in a tasting menu which changes frequently, were sublime; the anchovy butter with the homemade bread was simple and delicious. The sorbet was an explosion of raspberry that had the diner wondering where all the raspberries were. The turbot, lamb and sauces were excellent and sophisticated. Just go! ????
Fabulous small restaurant. Excellent service, relaxed atmosphere serving the most delicious food prepared to a Michelin standard. Nothing about this restaurant disappointed us and we are happy to recommend it. We would love to return sometime.
Service was excellent Each course was pleasant and fresh with the use of cucumber tomatoes basil in courses. Wine pairings were very well thought out All presented very well My only main comment is that it required more punchy dishes with stand out flavours to remember when you look back on the menu

A really pleasant experience with wonderful employees. Incredible sauces/emulsations that have worked beautifully in every dish. There were too many favorites to name just a dish. We chose wine through the glass and while they were good, the price was for each 12cl.
Absolutely stunning restaurant, the tasting menu is from this world and the service is just right. It is a small room, the decor is very much underlined (the food speaks). It feels intimate, you can see the cook cooking and the service is discreet, but there every time you need it. We went to the tasting menu and shared the pairing wines, each course was excellent.
One day they will have a Michelin star so go now while they don’t! Amazing food and nice welcome ! French chef and spanish manager. 5 course menu deviation was amazing. Went with my wife after a long walk around lisbon. Close to the castle I. The old town so a perfect spot.
We were really looking forward to this restaurant but the advertising was misleading. We were under the impression it was a Michelin 2 Star establishment but when we arrived we realised it was only a Michelin Recommended one. The ambiance and service was charming. The food a little odd for me....more like a 9 course tasting menu which doesn't appeal to me although it does to many others. We also found some of the course very very strange tasting and not appealing. But overall we enjoyed the dinner experience. Thank you.
Amazing food, service, and ambiance. The restaurant is relatively small and cozy. The food service were wonderful! We initially selected the small tasting menu but after seeing the reviews we switched it to the full menu and we were grateful we did! The food was incredible, every plate made us excited for the next. Definitely recommend!
