Empadaria Alentejana - Lisboa

The food was good, Bacalhau com Natas but it was heated in the microwave. The salad had an sour sweet sauce kind of strange. The price of day special is the regular- a Macdonalds burger around 5euros. I would gave them a good rating, if it wasnt frozen food.

A comida é excelente e o atendimento muito simpático. Comi o prato do dia, lombo de porco com purê de batata e salada. Foi muito saboroso além de ser um bocado pequeno. A minha mulher comeu duas empadas fantásticas e uma sopa. Estava tudo muito bom com um preço razoável. A única coisa que não gostei e que o prato não veio com bebida o que não é normal. Portanto tinha de pager o copo de vinho e o café apart. Devem esclarecer o que vem e não vem com o prato do dia. Mas sobre tudo gostei muito e voltará. I had lunch here with my wife and the food was delicious and the people were very nice and efficient. I had the prato do dia which was roast pork loin with mashed potatoes and salad. It was fantastic. Very well seasoned. It was a little small but still enough for a light lunch. It did not come with a drink which is not normal and didn’t say on the menu if it did or not so I had to pay extra for a glass of wine and my coffee. They really should mention that no drink is included. My wife had two empadas which were wonderful and a soup which was also very good. Overall the food is really good and the service and ambiance as well. A good value for some really tasty food. I will definitely be back. If the drink were included in the daily special I would have given 5 stars.

Existe para ai uma profusão de ‘empanadarias’ argentinas e ignoramos as empadas alentejanas que são soberbas e genuínas. Portugal no seu melhor as empadas alentejanas) e no seu pior ignorarem o que é nosso, e excepcional)
