Amazing restaurant! We visited several times during our trip to Lisbon and loved being able to taste all the different snacks. The best part was the knowledge of the workers, though. We just described the type of wine we were interested in and it was able to help us pick something to match our desires and food selections.

My daughters and me had a very nice evening at this small and very original restaurant. The host told us a lot of interesting things about potuguese culture. And the Fado music was wonderful. The menu is also very small but well prepared. Together with...the music played nearly exclusively for us the prices are totally ok. Highly recommended for people not interested in mainstream.
We went in this charming restaurant to listen some fado and it was better than what we expected. Family atmosphere, nice people, really welcoming and good neighborhood. Mathilde, the fado singer and her two musicians offered us a magical show. Thank you again!!
We first went to Conserva-te last fall and enjoyed ourselves so much that we returned with friends in February. Back in Lisbon again and returned with another group of friends in June. This is our go-to place for fado, wine and petiscos and it never...disappoints. At the moment, it's open on Thursdays and Fridays for Fado starting at pm and they even do a nice (and inexpensive) lunch during the week. This week we were lucky enough to see the amazing Elizabeta da Veiga who sang mornas (the Cabo Verdean music popularized by Cesaria Evora) as well as fado. If you're looking for a genuine fado experience this is the place to go. Lisbon is our second home and we're so glad we found Conserva-te. We'll be returning again and again.
Tiny little restaurant in typical neighborhood Madragoa, whose mission is to promote anything related to Portugal and the Portuguese language. Yummy Portuguese tapas, a costly venue and live fado performances what else?
We loved this place. eating was delicious and you can hear amazing Fado musicians. after each set they can talk to them about music, portugal or something else that appears. the owner goes out of his way to feel at home. we were in lisbon three times and loved it every time. we're safe back.
