A very beautiful experience in which tradition means the first Brazilian restaurant in lissabon
Great food and the service was excellent. I went and ate there twice by myself and I did not feel out of place or weird for sitting myself as the owner made me feel very welcome and chatted with me for a bit. I had...the fish soup as a starter and it was so good that I ordered an extra portion to take home with me once my meal was done. I really recommend this hidden spot in Principe Real! You will not be disappointed
What called my attention was the name of the restaurant and their menu brought memories from home. However, I could find only two dishes that are true comidas de Santo the others are staples of Brazilian gastronomy from multiple different regions. We bumped into them...almost unintentionally, but what a punch of flavors. Both my spouse and I got carne do sol in different presentations because that is hard to find in the USA. We loved the gelado de lima com cachaça desert, be ready, it is pure cachaça on top of your ice cream.
In the Brazilian and that was the best Brazilian restaurant I've ever been in Europe. eating is amazing, I had the feeling that I was in arraial d’ajuda bahia just because of the taste of the food. please order the pudim de mandioca, best desert!
