Cash only. Food is not bad but I wouldn’t say it’s amazing. I did not appreciate the fact that I was NIT told that it was cash only before hand. It is apparently written outside in small print. Not sure what’s going on with the 5* reviews here. I would not recommend. View all feedback.
Simple dishes. Lots of compassion! I went to dine in with my huge suitcase as I was leaving Portugal. I felt comfortable, had some lunch and got my affairs in order. I felt welcome.
Quality food delicious. No fuss Frills. Expect to only pay by cash. Central location but quiet. Most importantly, seemed to be frequent by the locals which is a good sign of good food.
As a solo traveller, this place was incredible for me. Food was fairly priced, location was directly next to my hostel (Yes! Hostel), and it was never overly busy. The woman working there was extremely kind and service was great. If you’re looking for something delicious and local, 100% recommend.

A chef of 32 years of experience in same kitchen is really not a joke and you can find the simple n true traditional taste on food. The honest traditional menu options, fastest and cheapest lunch.
