The proprie... read more This is by far the very best restaurant we have tried in Lisbon. Lovely building. Stupendous food. Excellent wine and port. Really friendly service. The proprietress was so very welcoming. We came on a recommendation. I just wish we'd come at the start of our visit so we could have come back. Thus restaurant is in iteslf a good reason to visit Lisbon.

Their fish was fresh and tasty. I had the grouper with rice, and my wife had the seafood wrapped in a delicious puff pastry. I recommend the seafood in the pastry. Both were excellent. The service is very professional. The owner is charming. The price was reasonable. I highly recommend this restaurant.

We were very impressed with the quality of the food and the service and the proprieter gave us some history of the building and the local area.
