Service There were an old couple working in the restaurant at the time we went, which we assumed to be the owners of the place. They didn´t appear too pleased with our presence there, but we didn´t care as long as the food was good. Food I decided to go for Cod whislt my girlfriend chose grilled salmon. The grilled salmon was great, while my cod was quite chewy, bland and boring. The dishes were served with boiled potatoes, carrots and green beans, which didn´t have any seasoning on them. Overall, nothing that couldn´t be easily cooked at home (including the salmon). Price What surprised me the most about the price were charged is that we were given some tapas as soon as we sat, which we expected to be free of charge as we did not request them. We were given some olives, cheese, salsages and bread, in small portions as you´d expect free of charge with drinks in a normal restaurant. At the end we were faced with a bill that also included another 5 euros or so just for these small dishes. The actual dishes were priced just above the average, which we were ok with. In my opinion the reviews given for this restaurant are not to be relied on if you are planning on having lunch or dinner here. Maybe as a bar it would be a different case.

The grilled cuttlefish was fresh and s... read more Had a nice relaxing lunch in the local area near our hotel on our last day. The chorizo part of the appetiser was superb. The grilled cuttlefish was fresh and served with a welcome side-salad. Our waitress was patient and good-humoured about our lack of Portugese language.
