Very generous portions, good food. We traveled with a kid and they were very accommodating. They also have a diaper change room.
The worst restaurant we ate in all of Portugal. Stingy people who don't see the customer and only see the customer's money...very bad and very dry food. I ordered a steak and got a steak the size of a beer bottle cap dry as cardboard without any toppings. When I complained they wanted to take away the chips and give a salad..shame and disgrace..recommend not to go near this restaurant. They embarrass the Portuguese
I don’t understand the poor reviews of this place! We went there for a light lunch after visiting the nearby Berardo Collection. We at first headed to Torre Sandwich Shop, based on the 5 star reviews, and decided to pass that one by (uncleared tables, very unappetizing looking meals). We sat on the shaded veranda and very much enjoyed our octopus salad, a black-eyed pea salad, and white wine. The service was also very kind and prompt. It’s not a luxe place, but definitely a nice little cafe. I’d go there again if I were in the area.
Food was okay but the staff was very impolite. Be careful, bread and butter that may look like it’s complimentary but you end up paying for it. We were served by a staff “Alim” from Bangladesh was very impolite.
Discovered this place late on our vacation, otherwise we would have returned. Service friendly (English speaker), good menu with plenty of choice, nice atmosphere (we sat upstairs) and delicious food. Chicken stroganoff, salad, spaghetti bolognese and other dishes all good, with drinks , around 50 euros- excellent value. Highly recommended if you are staying in the area.
