We were met by a waiter, and when we called attention to t... read more Took my family for a meal, and chose the only table without the windbreak awnings, to enjoy the view. We were met by a waiter, and when we called attention to the linen tablecloth being dirty, he replied that it was where people (presumably staff) would go to smoke. Despite suggesting that it should be cleaned, he didn't do so, simply walked off. We came to the conclusion that if we wanted to dine on a clean table, we would have to move table, which we did. As we had limited time, in order to keep things simple, we ordered drinks (water and a pint of beer at 4.30€ each) and Rodizio for all. Whilst we went to the buffet table which was quite poor in comparison to other Rodizio style restaurants that we have been to in Portugal, Brasil and Argentina. The only dressing for salads were oil and vinegar or a mustardy style sauce. During that time, the rice, chips (undercooked), black beans and fried banana was delivered to our table. It took about 25 minutes for the first meats to appear, with sausages and chicken legs. Once on the plates, we found that the chicken legs were running blood, so couldn't even try them! We eventually managed to call a waiter to put the chips back in the fryer to cook them properly (and so that they weren't cold), to which he replied (in a very arrogant and sarcastic manner) that they were hot when he brought them to the table! All the meats that were served were of very poor quality and extremely tough. Admittedly, as always the less noble meats are served first, but there was a huge reluctance to bring out any other meat like picanha. It just got to the stage where we gave up trying to have any semblance of a meal and asked for the bill. Nobody was at all interested in us, or any other clients in the restaurant, and certainly didn't care if we had an enjoyable meal, or not! An Irish couple on the table nearby ordered steaks, and when the waiter came over to ask how it was, I heard them say that they steaks were very tough and that they couldn't eat them. They simply asked for the bill and departed. All in all, we had a diabolical meal, hardly ate anything and regretted not having walked for another 5 minutes each way to Chimarrão which, in our experience has always been excellent. A huge disappointment that took the edge of a lovely break in Lisbon!

When we got there the restaurant was busy b... read more We were going to a concert at the MEO centre and wanted to eat locally beforehand so booked the earliest table 7.30. When we got there the restaurant was busy but there was a table available. After 10 minutes I found a waiter and we ordered food and wine. 30 minutes later we took a half empty bottle of water from an empty table. Another 10 minutes later, with no food or drink in sight we gave up and left.
