Just lovely, so many divine flavors and the desert is dreamy. They are happy to accommodate you in any way if they can!

We were very pleased with the buffet dinner. Initially, we thought we'd just do soup salad, but for only 3 euros more per person, splurged for the full thing. I am dieting, and there were lots of acceptable choices on the salad bar, and several options on the main entree line, as well. Fresh fruit for dessert (plus a taste of a raspberry mousse tart I AM on vacation, after all! A very attentive and helpful staff, plus a pianist providing live music, made for a great evening.

We arrived to the restaurant close to the closing time for dinner and the staff was kind enough to serve us the meals. The staff was quite nice and suportive. We had some expectations about the food and the experience food related was disapointing. We odered the codfish and a grilled steak, and a wine bottle. The codfish had no flavour: in the menu it was stated that it came with a topping of corn bread, but you could hardly sense it. The steak was described as coming grilled and with garlic butter flavour. Again the flavour was missing. Pretty basic steak with fries. As the restaurant was closing, the staff had a really nice and kind gesture allowing us to pick several desserts from the buffet. Most of them were industrial type... Maybe it was because the restaurant was closing but you could feel the lack of passion on the food... THe price was high for the experience we had. The wine list is quite complete with wines from several regions from Portugal.

There was no buffet the night we stayed here. The dinner menu was not extensive but was adequate. My wife and I each had curry (different ones) and we were both pleasantly surprised as we usually avoid hotel restaurants. The food was tasty, the atmosphere very nice, the decor upscale, and the service excellent. I thought the price was very reasonable. I would recommend Bordalo Pinheiro if you are at the hotel.
