We had the opportunity to enjoy so... read more During July 2023 we were very lucky (Thank God) to spend two weeks traveling in Europe to celebrate our wedding anniversary. We had the opportunity to enjoy so many different cuisines, and so many tasteful dishes! But simply put: BEHER was the best restaurant during this two-week period, by a lot. We would gladly return to this restaurant any day. For sure in our next visit to Portugal and/or Spain it will be on the top of our list of places to go. Why? Well, we had the fortune of tasting our first Presa of Pata Negra here! It was a new experience that left us speechless. At first, we really didn’t know that we were eating pork. The meat was so delicious, and it was melting in our mouths. If you still haven’t tried it, please, if you visit Lisbon, you have to visit this place and order it. Service was very good as well. Besides our life-changing lunch, we also went here for a quick light dinner, because this restaurant was only half a block away from our hotel. Provecho!

The bread with tomato sauce is absolutely gorgeous with the ham....... a little refreshing from the tomato goes a long way with the ham. The croquette is surprising awesome. The filling has a taste of ham and probably mixed with mash potato. What can go wrong with mash potato and cured ham together. It is like made in heaven. The aged cheese is lighter than Parma cheese but stich rich in flavor. ....... ok you need a glass of fruity red wine to compliment the ham. This is how I like it.
