The bread with tomato sauce is absolutely gorgeous with the ham....... a little refreshing from the tomato goes a long way with the ham. The croquette is surprising awesome. The filling has a taste of ham and probably mixed with mash potato. What can go wrong with mash potato and cured ham together. It is like made in heaven. The aged cheese is lighter than Parma cheese but stich rich in flavor. ....... ok you need a glass of fruity red wine to compliment the ham. This is how I like it. This place is like a Cafe dedicated to this particular brand of Jamon, which they claim is the best Jamon, etc. So not Portugeuse but Spanish and since I wasn't... read more This place is like a Cafe dedicated to this particular brand of Jamon, which they claim is the best Jamon, etc. So not Portugeuse but Spanish and since I wasn't going to Spain this time through I thought it would be worth a visit. Reader it was amazing. I gorged myself on splendid Jamon. Plenty of photos and accouterments inside to pad out the vibe. Service was friendly and mostly attentive. It's also a heavily touristy area with a ton of really bad looking options so don't discount it just because it's not Portuguese and a chain.
