Last week I had dinner at the mago restaurant and I left the restaurant thinking when I will repeat this . besides big chefs are andré and marta great host. the... read more Last week I had dinner at the mago restaurant and I left the restaurant thinking when I will repeat this . besides big chefs are andré and marta great host. the menu was absolutely amazing and all dishes were a piece of art. andré recommended the wee pairing and it was a great option because he knows his wee and how to combine them with the diners. we spent most of our dinners talking to the chefs about the menu, eating, weeping and Portuguese products. I really recommend it!

Run only by a team of two chefs who are also husband/wife, the food was impeccable but the vibe friendly and unpretentious. The entire restaurant is a communal table for 10, which sounded a bit intimidating at first as a solo traveller. Throughout the evening though, it created great conversation and shared experience of the food. If you enjoy wine, definitely go for the wine pairing. Service: Dine in Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
