There are great restaurants in Lisbon with very tasty food, but how we found this one I don't know

We visited this restaurant on our last night in Lisbon as we were staying nearby and had walked past several times and it was always busy. We were not disappoin... read more We visited this restaurant on our last night in Lisbon as we were staying nearby and had walked past several times and it was always busy. We were not disappointed. We got there at 7pm to make sure we got a seat and didn’t leave until 10pm as we enjoyed the company of the other diners, the staff and the owner. It was very friendly and the food was simple but tasty. All the dishes we saw come to tables looked nice and it seemed all the diners were enjoying their meals. The bill was very reasonable for what we had starters, main course, sweet, beer, wine, coffee and cherry brandies only 33 euros each. They do offer croquettes as a starter as soon as you sit down. They are not free and are 1.30 euro each but it’s nice to have something to eat whilst looking at the menu. Our waiter spoke 6 languages so was able to engage with all the diners which made for a enjoyable experience. Fully recommend it
