Was Mario B at Afuri a mag?

The food quality stands up with the best of them. Presentation was pretty good as well. It was just that the service was probably a 7/10. Nothing bad, but nothing really memorable. Would definitely return, but a bit of a letdown from what it was pre COVID View all feedback.

It's a good deal 12 euros for ramen and a glass of wine or beer. The atmosphere is quite sophisticated. The employees are nice. It isn't the best ramen I had but it's good for the price.

Food was great! The Yuzu Raman we had was made in Japan standard, and the Toro I had was fresh. However the staff here needs to be better trained. They often mess up orders, and brought food to wrong table. Please develop a system that works, it is sad to see a restaurant with good food fail because the waiting staff cannot perform.

Might be weird choosing to eat ramen when traveling in Portugal but it 's the real thing just like in Japan unlike in Edinburgh where something 's usually just slightly off. Preferred the tonkontsu ramen which has thinner kyushu style noodles than the tonkotsu tantanmen and is less salty. If you fish out the ginger, it 's kind of like Ichiran but less rich. Would recommend getting extra charsiu pork!! The karaage was really good with a nice dip and the chocolate cheesecake was divine, especially the base of it so well made (don 't be put off by the word 'ginger ' lol... the combination has the taste of sophistication . The decor was also lovely. Good service.

Very good japanese restaurant in Lisbon. Probably one of the better japanese restaurant i’ve tried in lisbon, paris or london. Makes me remember when i was in tokyo. All plates are really good and with the same taste than in japan. Really impressive. Prices are impressives too, that’s the only negative remark i can make about Afury Chiado, near 200€ for 4 people !

Whoever gave this place a bad review, never be on this website ever again. Never set foot into an Afuri ever again, you don’t deserve it. You don’t deserve the finesse, grace and skill that this ramen takes to make. THIS IS NOT A SUSHI RESTAURANT, THIS IS NOT A TAKE OUT RESTAURANT. Go enjoy a bowl of ramen and thank me later. Goodnight.

The restaurant is located in the heart of the city, it’s really cosy and easily accessible. The service was great and the food was amazing. Best ramen in town! We had Roll Chef Special, Yuzu Shoyu e Maitake Miso.

As a frequent Japan visitor, I was pleasantly surprised to find this hidden gem. The Chicken karaage, sunomono and truffled noodles were all great…am returning tomorrow!

Always have an enjoyable experience with high-quality food and excellent ambiance. The bowls of ramen are hearty and flavorful, and the individual plates of sushi and sashimi are fresh and taste treats. One small complaint is that the kitchen could be less noisy... there tends to be a lot of extraneous chatter. Otherwise, a favorite one highly recommends.

The noodle texture was beautiful, and the pig in the ramen was excellent. However, the broth would have had deeper aromas, and my favorite dish was the seaweed star who should not be the case for a ramen operation from Japan.

Pretty authentic Japanese place with many great options! I really enjoyed the soft bowl rolls, sushi, gyoza and the rams. Ribs was only a plate that could be improved. You have really nice and nice place and service was pleasant. If you enjoy Japanese food, I think you will like this place!

Food wasn't bad, but it wasn't authentic at all. I never served broccoli and carrots in a Japanese restaurant. There is not even soy sauce on the table. You should call yourself a fusion restaurant, not Japanese. Advantages for good service tho

Pretty good food and the rams were okay. Not authentic, but it was delicious. Maybe a little more wealth in taste would be good. The Sunomono (was not traditional Sunomono) was really good. Lived place, but a seat and our food right away. It took a while to get our bill

We had Yuzu shoyu, pork based ramen, matcha tiramisu. Noodle was really good, looks like it was made by them not a store bought. Although the chashu could have been 2 peices rather than 1 since many other ramen restaurants in lisbon place 2-3. Matcha tiramisu was not too sweet, I really enjoyed but it could have been more authentic with a bit stronger matcha flavor. Try their beer, its really good.
