Near Praça de Londres, formerly Praça do México and an area frequented by artists of the past, it is surrounded by tile that guests are invited to taste Portuguese favorites ranging from composed plates to some of the very best Pastries in town. Not exactly English-friendly, though easy to navigate thanks to familiar items, it was after perusal that six items were selected, Nata to start and finish each featuring flawless Pastry filled with Egg Custard lightly sweetened and tinged in Cinnamon. Passing on savories, though several are offered, fans of Sugar will find plenty atop Mexicana’s Palmera Glaseada while the Mil Folhas competes with Lisbon’s best in terms of taste as well as texture. Happy to see more styles of Pasteis, Almond laid flat and Coconut piled high, consistency proves key with shells shattering layer-for-layer regardless of filling.

Hygiene best practice are a foundation of preserving the legacy an business and apparently is not part of the goals of every waiter... I was seated for more than 1 hour and I have not seen any waiter cleaning the tables and on top they kept the same paper towels on tables . The business owner have two options or cleaning tables and renewed the towels or cleaning the tables and do not use the towels paper with a good saving in terms of money and time . One of the two!!!
