The vegan starter was simples but soooo delicious!! And the vegan risotto that the staff made on demand we asked if the could make and vegan main and the staff suggested some alterations to the menu and than our pick was the mushroom risotto! And it was SO delicious, better than MANY vegan restaurants around (and I am honestly trully sorry to say this).

They offer a menu of the day at 9€ with two options, though only one is vegan, and a drink. It was always very good and generously served. I also tried on vegan dessert, a pudding carael, which was also good. The waiter and waitress are super nice! I'll come back at night to try their natural wines and tapas.

This was our final meal before we left Portugal and this did not disappoint! All the dishes we had were super flavourful and very accommodating to our dietary needs where we had struggled to find somewhere to please all our party of meat eaters/vegan/gluten free. the service was very efficient and kind. We did make a reservation and wish we would have been sat outside but the inside had a great ambience and a nice escape from the heat. I would definitely definitely recommend. Stumbled across A Obra after wandering down Green Street earlier in the day, loved the look of it it, so had to book it in the evening. Staff were so accommodating, food flowed so naturally (as did the drinks). The asparagus was particularly outstanding. This was a 10/10 experience.
